But the silver lining on that cloud is that the earlier you catch it, the better chance you have of beating it. Breast Cancer Now estimated that if everybody did their regular checks, it could save 1500 lives a year. That’s a high price to pay for forgetting to spend a measly few minutes on yourself.

The goal is to get at least 50,000 women to download it over the next 12 months, which would make it the same number as are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Britain.
